On July 8, a team of experts from the R&D and quality‑inspection departments of Fengshen Tire, a leading state‑owned tire manufacturer, visited Jiyuan Hongxin Rubber Co., Ltd. They delivered specialized lectures and provided hands‑on guidance on core technologies, including advanced rubber composite material production processes, quality control, and testing standards. Key personnel from the company’s R&D, production, quality‑inspection, and marketing departments participated throughout the exchange and learning session.

As a leading state-owned tire manufacturer in China, Fengshen Tire has long been dedicated to the research, development, and production of rubber tires, amassing a mature and comprehensive technological framework and extensive industry expertise in areas such as new-material applications, end-to-end quality control, and large-scale intelligent manufacturing. Jiyuan Hongxin Rubber is a pioneering, technology-driven benchmark enterprise specializing in water-based, fully formulated wet‑mix rubber compounds. With highly complementary upstream–downstream positions in the value chain and a longstanding, deeply collaborative partnership, this technical exchange represents an important step toward strengthening industrial synergy and jointly establishing quality standards.

This exchange was structured into two main segments: a thematic presentation and hands-on practical sessions. During the classroom session, Fengshen experts, drawing on the real-world application needs of tire‑end products, dissected the key technical considerations for adapting high‑end composite rubber materials. They shared cutting‑edge industry‑wide control strategies covering stable compound performance, rigorous quality management of raw materials and finished products, process optimization, and end-to-end risk mitigation. In addition, they addressed common pain points in wet‑mixing production and provided standardized approaches to quality‑inspection management.

At the technical exchange event, the expert team visited the company’s quality‑inspection laboratory and production workshops to deliver hands‑on training. The experts demonstrated step by step the proper procedures for rapid testing, analyzed the causes of anomalies in real‑time instrument readings, and provided one‑on‑one guidance to address the practical challenges faced by quality‑control personnel, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical standards and frontline operations.

Employees from all departments who participated in the training unanimously agreed that the session was closely aligned with actual production needs, and that the expert’s presentation of mature quality-control systems employed by leading industry players, along with innovative approaches to new-materials R&D, offered invaluable insights and effectively addressed existing technological gaps.

Going forward, Jiyuan Hongxin Rubber will fully leverage the advanced technologies and management expertise gained from this exchange, continuously optimize its wet‑mixing production process across the entire value chain, and refine its rapid quality‑control system for rubber compounds, thereby empowering the downstream tire industry with a high‑standard supply of raw materials. At the same time, the company will deepen its industry–university–research collaboration with Fengshen Tire, drawing on the complementary strengths of both sides’ industrial chains to jointly tackle cutting‑edge technologies and processes for high‑end rubber composites. By strengthening product competitiveness through technological innovation, Jiyuan Hongxin Rubber aims to work hand in hand with its partners to drive high‑quality, coordinated development across the rubber industry’s upstream and downstream sectors.
