---Sounding the New Horn of the Green Revolution in the Rubber Industry

On the morning of June 10, 2025, the mobilization meeting for the 20,000-ton/year green zero-carbon full-formula wet-mixing rubber demonstration project and the supporting 5,000-ton/year carbon black nano-emulsion demonstration production line project of Jiyuan Hongxin Rubber Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was grandly held in the report hall of the city's nano-startup incubation industrial park.

Dong Yali, Deputy Director of the Jiyuan Demonstration Zone People's Congress Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, and Chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce; Wu Lidong, director of the city's nano-industry special task force; Wang Daoliang, Party secretary of Wulongkou Town; Guo Yin, deputy general manager of Jiyuan Capital Operation Group Co., Ltd.; Li Xiaohong, director of the Henan University Jiyuan Pilot Test Base; and Zhang Zhijun, chairman of the company, attended the meeting.

In his mobilization speech, Chairman Zhang Zhijun reviewed the company's development history and technological breakthroughs. The company was registered in November 2021 and has gone through laboratory R&D and preliminary industrialization experiments. In September 2022, it completed key experiments from laboratory to industrial application in Mengding, Yunnan. In 2023, the first production line was built, followed by the construction of a full-formula pilot production line. Its full-formula wet-mixing technology significantly reduces energy consumption, and its products are favored by the market, especially tire companies. This 20,000-ton/year green zero-carbon full-formula wet-mixing rubber demonstration project is of great significance and will achieve a historic leap. There is no precedent for this in China or abroad, and it is expected to promote the technology nationwide and even globally, helping the Chinese rubber industry reach its peak.

In her summary speech, Deputy Director Dong Yali put forward three requirements: First, cherish the opportunity and work together to overcome difficulties. This project embodies the years of hard work of Professor Zhang Zhijun and his research team and is hard-won. It has milestone significance for Jiyuan's industrial transformation and upgrading. Second, meticulously organize and ensure effectiveness. It is required that Jiyuan Hongxin Rubber meticulously organize, scientifically arrange, strictly manage, and ensure safety, making every effort to accelerate the construction progress and ensure that the project is "completed, put into production, and yields results early," contributing new impetus to the economic and social development of Jiyuan. Third, optimize services and provide full support. It is required that all relevant departments and units should "use true feelings, exert true efforts, and make true contributions," providing "nanny-style" services and fully supporting the project construction to ensure that the project is completed on schedule and with high quality, contributing to the high-quality development of Jiyuan's economy.

The successful convening of this mobilization meeting officially sounded the charge for the project construction. The completion and commissioning of this demonstration project will break through the technical bottleneck of traditional dry-mixing, achieving three major goals: industrialization of technology, scale of production capacity, and maximization of benefits, leading the global rubber industry to achieve a disruptive leap towards green, low-carbon, and high-efficiency.

After the mobilization meeting, Deputy Director Dong Yali and the attending leaders went to the planned workshop for the project to conduct a field investigation.
