On the morning of May 30, Niu Donghong, Party Secretary and Director of the Industrial Science and Technology Bureau of the Demonstration Zone, paid a special research visit to the Jiyuan Nano Startup Incubation Industrial Park.
Niu Donghong and his delegation inspected the progress of Phase II and Phase III of the Nano Startup Incubation Industrial Park, conducted on-site visits to enterprises including Derong Technology, Xinghan Technology, and Hongxin Rubber to gain insights into project construction, technological processes, and production and operations, and held a symposium with responsible officials from the demonstration zone’s nano‑materials industry task force, Wulongkou Town, and the management body of the Nano Startup Incubation Industrial Park. They put forward specific recommendations for improving the park’s governance mechanisms and standardizing project management.

Niu Donghong pointed out that the Jiyuan Nanomaterials Industrial Cluster is among the first batch of strategic emerging industry clusters in Henan Province. The nanomaterials industrial chain is one of the eight key chains that Jiyuan is prioritizing for development, serving as a crucial driver of innovation and growth for the city’s industrial sector. The Jiyuan Nanomaterials Startup Incubation Industrial Park is not only the third-largest nanotechnology park in China but also the country’s only nanotech park located within a chemical industrial park. The Party Working Committee and the Management Committee of the Demonstration Zone have high expectations for advancing the development of the nanomaterials industry. All relevant parties must conduct a thorough analysis, accurately identify both the favorable factors and the challenges and issues facing the sector, further bolster confidence, clarify responsibilities, and ensure robust top-level design. They should establish an effective, comprehensive management framework for the nanomaterials startup incubation park. Efforts must be intensified to attract investment with precision, refine project evaluation processes, and strengthen on-site management, while firmly upholding safety and environmental protection standards. Innovative financing mechanisms should be actively explored to secure adequate funding for the park’s construction and expansion. Support should be provided to enterprises in the park to expand downstream markets and to develop risk‑sharing arrangements for the application of new nanomaterials. Adapting to evolving trends and striving for continuous improvement, government administration and enterprise innovation must keep pace with the latest developments in scientific and technological advancement and industrial transformation—aligning with emerging trends, needs, and requirements. This will enable the seamless integration of a proactive government and an efficient market, fostering a continuously innovative, high‑quality, and modern industrial park.
Tan Yamei, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wulongkou Town, attended the research visit and put forward requirements for strengthening the management of the nano‑startup incubation industrial park.
